About the Artist

Jade's Artistic Journey

As a self-taught artist, Jade has dedicated the last 12 years to crafting distinctive collections with her own innovative techniques. Her artwork features a mesmerizing combination of tea staining, pen and ink, watercolours, charcoals, acrylics, and more, resulting in a truly unique aesthetic.

Specialization in Animal Art. Jade focuses on animal art, creating custom pet portraits as well as breathtaking depictions of wildlife. She captures the essence of animals, highlighting their individual quirks and natural beauty.

“Animals are good for the soul. I surround myself with beautiful animals whether be on my homestead daily,  or our little island that we share with deer and wild turkeys, to the creatures from the ocean. I  pay tribute to the natural world that they live in and it reminds me to slow down and help reconnect with nature.”

Jade lives on beautiful Gabriola Island with her husband and their two children. Their working homestead is home to chickens, ducks, geese, and her rescue husky, Oxen.
